Three Scout Leaders and a BSA official receives Scout Service Award at the 6th National Scout Day Celebrations, today. The award is also initiated to commemorate the 40th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The Druk Gyalpo Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, who is also the Patron of Bhutan Scouts Association.
Award Recipients:
?Lifetime Achievement Medal: Mr. Pema Wangchuk, Retired National Training Commissioner, BSA ( 1999-2019)
?Gold Medal: Mrs. Sonam Lhamo, Leader Trainer, Scout Secretary, Thimphu Thromde Scout Association.
?Silver Medal: Mr. Phub Wangdi, Assistant Leader Trainer, Secretary, Dagana Scouts Association.
?Bronze Medal : Mrs. Sherab Wangmo, Assistant Leader Trainer, Secretary, Mongar Scouts Association.
The celebration is being held at Samdrup Jongkhar Middle Secondary School, cordially organized by Scouts and Culture Education Division, Department of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Education in collaboration with Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag and Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde.
