Applications are now open

The Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) is pleased to inform all interested and eligible Bhutanese under the purview of MoESD (non-civil servants) that online application for Australia Awards Scholarships, for study commencing in 2025 is open from 1 February 2024 and will close on 30 April 2024. These scholarships are offered for pursuing both master’s level programs by coursework as well as advanced diploma-level programs in Australia.

For obtaining the Nomination letter from the Department of Workforce Planning and Skills Development (DWPSD), MoESD, please, submit the duly filled  In-service HRD form along with documents mentioned in the form to the DWPSD office located at NLCS premises, Kawajangsa, in-person or by email at tgyeltshen@moesd.gov.bt. The Nomination letter will be provided from the date of this announcement till 29th April 2024 in accordance with the HRD Rules and Regulations for the non-civil service sectors of MoESD.

Therefore, the applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Minimum two years of work experience with the nominating agency at the time of application as per the Scholarship requirement;
  2. Relevant qualification requirements; and
  3. Relevant current work profile to applied studies.
