The Department of Workforce Planning and Skills Development under the Ministry of Education and Skills Development in collaboration with private training providers has trained 200 jobseekers in various skills such as Graphic Design, Photography Design and Editing, Web Design using WordPress and Square Space, Batending, Bakery Confectionery and Barista, Fast Food Production, Music Making and Production, and Video Making and Content Creation. They were also provided with transferrable skills through edX online learning and the Basic Entrepreneurship Course as a part of the Critical Skills Training Program funded by the ADB STEP-UP Project.
