Eligibility

• Every teacher from the government schools is eligible for the scheme.
• A teacher need not be a member to ESWS

List

• A new list will be compiled
• Teachers who have submitted the names earlier (under ESWS) should resubmit the names.
• The names should be accompanied by following detail:
  • Employ ID number
  • Citizen ID number
  • Proper school address.
  • Contact number
  • Choice of computer (Desktop/Laptop)
• With any of the detail missing the name will not be considered for the scheme

• Submission can be made by email, fax or letter.

Logistics

• MOE will place the order with the supplier after the list gets compiled.
• Contract agreement will be signed between the supplier and the MOE
• The supplier will reach the goods to the sites.
• With the finalized list, MOE will apply for the loan with the Bank.
• Bank will intimate the individual teachers about the loan amount and the installment for the repayment.

Installment/repayment amount

• For Desktop – 28,800/-  monthly installment is 1470/- for 2 years
• For Laptop  - 39, 000/- monthly installment is 1760/- for 2 years

(MoE is in the process of bargaining further on the cost of the computers)
